The number of pages for your postcard should always refer to the finished (e.g. folded) format.

It is necessary that you provide a preassembled lay-out for folded multi-page postcards.

The size of your postcard that you have to select in this box should always refer to the final finished product.

When it comes to designing your postcard it is very important to include a 2mm bleed to all edges. Please get further information how to set up your postcards by checking the factsheet provided online.

Our postcards are exclusively printed on wood free, white and double varnished branded paper, which will be refined with dispersion varnish. Our wood free offset paper (suitable for ink-/ laser printers) contains a very bright white and fine textured surface. The chromoboard for our postcards is entirely matt and writable on the back side and shiny varnished at the front.

Colours

We print your postcards using CMYK printing process and can include a Pantone channel. You will have the option to go for a screenproof or a colour binding paper proof (according to FOGRA standard) by selecting it on this page futher on.

Processing

Here you can select how your postcards will be finished. You can either go for just trimming, corners rounded or folding. Please make sure that you selected the correct number of pages for your postcards earlier on.

Example:
Postcard, A6, 4 pages, 250 GSM, for illustration printing, glossy. The correct selection reads: Trimming, folding.

Postcard, A6, 4 pages, 280 GSM chromo board. The correct selection reads: Trimming, grooving (plano).The product will be non-folded on delivery.

It would be wrong to select 210 x 297 mm (A4), 2 pages because this defines an open format and would not result in the calculation you want.

Cellophane coating

Protects your postcard with a matt or gloss layer of foil (lamination). Selectable for all postcards with a paperweight of 170gsm and higher.

Creasing/perforation

If you want to have your postcards creased or perforated (we recommend from 170gsm upwards) here you can select how many lines you will need for your postcard. Please note that even with a creasing or perforation line cracking of the spine could occure. You can choose a line of perforatino for a tear off.

Your order and data need to be received Monday to Friday by 12noon (for overnight and express orders until 9 am).
